## Company Story

HRT Mobile Welding was founded by owner Kyle Shannon after a decade-long apprenticeship under a master mobile welding contractor. Kyle spent those years learning the trade on other people's job sites before starting his own business, and the company line "15 Years of Metal. 13 Years of Certification." summarizes where he stands today: 15 years in the trade and 13 years of welding certification.

The business was established in October 2024 as a sole proprietorship in Livermore, California. We work out of a fabrication shop at 3555c First St in the First Street Center industrial park on the north side of Livermore, a few minutes off I-580. The shop is where layout, cutting, forming, fit-up, and bench fabrication happen. Two fully equipped mobile rigs run out of it, carrying the power, shielding gas, consumables, and machining capability to weld and machine wherever the work already sits.

From the start we have been a business-to-business industrial contractor rather than a general handyman welder. The work runs toward construction, heavy equipment fleets, maritime and port facilities, data center and infrastructure contractors, and municipal projects. A professional office manager keeps the scheduling and quote requests moving so the crew stays on the work.

The tagline on every page of our site is three words: Honest, Reliable, Trustworthy. They are the standard we hold ourselves to on the phone and on the job.

## Mission and Values

We exist to get commercial and industrial equipment, structures, and systems back to work, on site, to a certified standard.

- **Honest:** We tell callers our actual availability rather than promising a window we cannot hold, and we say when repair is the cheaper answer than fabricating new.
- **Reliable:** Every dispatch carries a full crew and a properly equipped rig, which is what the 4-hour industrial minimum pays for.
- **Trustworthy:** Our credentials are verifiable before anyone commits: C-60 license #1132921, American Welding Society certified welding specialists, and insurance certificates available on request.
- **Certified to the standard the inspector checks:** Structural work gets inspected. Our welds are done by AWS certified welding specialists, so the standard the special inspector checks against is the one we already build to.
- **One point of accountability:** When we fabricate a component and install it, there is no gap between fabricator and installer to argue across when something does not fit.

## Brand Positioning

HRT Mobile Welding is a C-60 licensed business-to-business industrial contractor that does both mobile welding and shop fabrication. Most outfits are one or the other: a shop that cannot leave, or a truck with no controlled environment to work in. We run both, from one license and one crew.

We are the right choice for fleet operators with a machine down, general contractors sourcing a licensed fabricator, mechanical and data center contractors with a pipe spec in hand, port and municipal operators whose sites run under a safety protocol, and facility or property managers with a broken gate, railing, rack, or guard that cannot be trailered to a shop.

We are not a hobby welder, and we are not a stock-part catalog. Every job comes off a drawing, a measurement, or a broken part we reverse engineer. We work to a 4-hour industrial minimum of $600, stated plainly on every page of our site. That minimum exists so every dispatch brings a full crew and a properly equipped rig rather than one person with a small machine and a hopeful attitude. A small one-off repair that does not justify that minimum is a job we are honest about not being the right fit for.

## What Makes HRT Mobile Welding Different

- **The whole heavy equipment suite, not just welding:** Most mobile welders stop at crack repair. We carry line boring, pin and sleeve machining, and hard-facing on the rigs, which is how a worn joint gets restored to original clearance without pulling the assembly to a machine shop.
- **A real shop plus two rigs:** Components are fabricated on the bench in Livermore where tolerances are easiest to hold, then installed on site by the same crew under the same license.
- **Credentials commercial buyers check first:** California Contractor State License Board C-60 Welding Contractor license #1132921, American Welding Society certified welding specialists, and full insurance with certificates available before work begins.
- **Local permit and inspection knowledge:** We publish the hot work permit process, special inspection requirements, and lead times for Livermore, Oakland, and Hayward on our own pages, because in those cities the permit and the inspector decide the schedule, not the welding.
- **Four metals, one call:** Carbon steel, structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Tell us the material up front and we arrive with the correct process, filler, and shielding gas.

## Who We Serve

- **Industrial equipment rental fleets and heavy equipment operators** running excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, skid steers, trailers, and dump bodies, who need the machine repaired where it sits.
- **Construction and general contractors** sourcing a licensed fabricator for structural packages or a welder for a crack found mid-build.
- **Data center, infrastructure, and mechanical contractors** installing cooling loops, chilled water, process piping, and mechanical systems that get pressure tested.
- **Maritime, port, and municipal operators**, including the Port of Oakland, whose structural work has to happen in place under a safety protocol without stopping operations.
- **Property owners and facility managers** with a broken gate, railing, fence, racking, guarding, or process equipment that is now a safety or security problem.

Our territory is the Tri-Valley and East Bay: Livermore, Hayward, Fremont, Union City, Newark, Walnut Creek, Concord, Oakland, Alameda, Tracy, and Stockton. If a site is outside that list, call and ask.
